Survey for proposed cultural arts centre

The Cobequid Cultural Society would like the public to attend a consultation meeting on March 4 and take a survey on a proposed cultural arts centre.

The new high school scheduled to replace Charles P. Allen High in 2012-2013 presents the opportunity to create a performing arts centre attached to the school that would beneifit both the school and the communities in the Cobequid Region (Northwest HRM).

The Cobequid Cultural Centre for the Arts Society (also known as the Cobequid Cultural Society) is interested in hearing your opinions about the possible development of a centre for performing arts and culture, digital arts and cultural training in the northwest area of Halifax Regional Municipality.

CCAS would like your opinions.

Take a moment to complete the online survey at www.cccas.ca.

Also a reminder about the Thursday, March 4 arts consultation taking place at the Bedford Legion located at 1772 Bedford Highway.

Meeting starts at 7 p.m.

Entertainment by Celtic Fizz at 6:30 p.m.
