Suspect arrested after stabbing in Halifax

At 11:58 Halifax Reg­ional Police respond­ed to the 2200 block of  Gottingen Street for a male who had been stabbed. The victim informed police he had been in an altercation and was stabbed in the hand. A suspect was locat­ed a short time late on Barrington Street where he was arres­ted without incident. The 32 year old ma­le from Dartmouth wi­ll be attending court this date to face charges of assault with a weapon and wea­pons dangerous to the public. The victim was treated at the QE2 and released.
