Suspect robs same store twice in one night

Suspect is described as a white man in his twenties

Police are investigating two robberies involving the same suspect that occurred in Dartmouth last weekend.

On April 23 at approximately 12:25 a.m. police responded to a robbery at the Needs Convenience Store located at 100 Highfield Park Drive. A man entered the store and took cigarettes and cash. The suspect assaulted an employee who confronted him and then fled the store with the cigarettes.

At approximately 6 a.m. the suspect returned to the store and attempted to steal cigarettes. The suspect assaulted and threatened an employee who confronted him and then fled the area on foot.

The suspect is described as a white man in his twenties, approximately 5’7” tall with reddish brown hair and facial hair. At the time of the incidents, he was wearing black jogging pants, a black winter jacket, a dark gray hooded sweater and black shoes.
