Suspicious Death Ruled a Homicide

  The death of a man whose body was found in a Dartmouth home yesterday has been ruled a homicide.

 

The death of a man whose body was found in a Dartmouth home yesterday has been ruled a homicide.
At 2:26 a.m. on March 9, Halifax Regional Police responded to 56 Havenbrook Hill in Portland Hills subdivision in relation to the death of a man. Police took two men in to custody yesterday at approximately 3:30 a.m., however, they have since been released without charges.
 
An autopsy was conducted today and the cause of death has been ruled a homicide. The victim’s name is being withheld pending official identification and next of kin notification.
 
Investigators in the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit are continuing to ask anyone with information about this incident to contact police at 490-5016.
