Suspicious man approaches teen in Beaver Bank

Halifax District RCMP have talked to the man involved in the reported incident yesterday and have determined the man legitimately thought the teen was someone else

At 8:00 a.m. on May 30, 2016, a suspicious man approached a 15-year-old girl who was walking along Davis Dr., Beaver Bank to catch a school bus. The man drove up along-side the female and was attempting to speak to her through the window but she ignored him and he drove away.
The man is described as older with grey hair and possibly a moustache, driving an older model gold coloured pick-up truck.
Police are asking for anyone who has information about the identity of this man to contact Halifax District RCMP at (902) 490-5020 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
