At 1:18 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a suspicious package in a playground in 5800 block of South Street.
Officers with the Explosive Disposal Unit determined there was no threat and the street has been re-opened to traffic. Thank you to everyone for their cooperation in this matter.
