Swimming Halifax Harbour For The United Way

Sarah Wakely & Antoine Abawajy check out Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal deputy minister David Darrow going to great lengths to support the United Way. In fact, Mr. Darrow  challenged his department to raise more than $2,500 to see him swim across Halifax Harbour on Aug. 25.

"I've thought about doing this for a couple of years," said Mr. Darrow. "I'm excited by this challenge and I'm confident that my  colleagues will raise a little extra this year to support this great cause."

The department's webmaster, Kevin Doran swam with Mr. Darrow as he braved the harbour at noon.
