Temporary Street Closure – Willett Street

Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a portion of Willett Street, from Main Avenue to Melrose Avenue, will be closed to traffic on Wednesday, Sept. 17, to facilitate asphalt paving.

The street closure will be in place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. During the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the traffic signals at the intersection of Main Avenue and Willett Street will be turned off, and traffic control personnel will be in place.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible.

The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
