The Post About Wacko Terrorizing Petsmart – #subzerodifference

Wacko is turning 5! As I mentioned in a previous post, Wacko has a delicate tummy and has since she was a pup. So we decided to take her to PetSmart®  to get her some treats and some new dog food for her upcoming birthday. You can imagine how that went down.

This post is sponsored by Nutrience®, PetSmart, and the BlogPaws Professional Pet Blogger Network. I am being compensated for helping spread the word about the launch of Nutrience Subzero in PetSmart Canada but Mommyjuiced.com only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. Nutrience and PetSmart are not responsible for the content of this article.

We don’t usually take Bella shopping with us but when we do, all hell breaks loose. In a nutshell, we learned:

  1. Pets are welcome at PetSmart stores but only, ONLY if they are well behaved and on a leash. So that means this was Wacko’s first and last visit. She was nutso! All the smells, all the dogs… overwhelming to the doggy senses. (I think she peep on the floor).
  2. PetSmart holds obedience classes for dogs right in the store. One class was taking place during our visit. Wacko was a major distraction. Wacko needs obedience classes but won’t be taking them at PetSmart (see #1).
  3. Wacko is a criminal… she shoplifts. She managed to snarf down some treats before we were able to pay for them and before we fled the store after picking up her new food, Nutrience Grain Free Subzero™
  4. Leave Wacko home next time we need dog food.

The only bright spot is that she really likes her new Subzero food. By like it, I mean that it doesn’t have the chance to sit in the dish for hours before she gets around to eating it. She looks forward to cleaning out the dish soon after it’s filled with her food. While it’s too soon to tell if it’s going to sort out her “noisy butt” problem, I’ll keep you posted on how that goes.
