Thieves steal mini-excavator and trailer

Halifax District RCMP is investigating the theft of a mini-excavator and it’s trailer from a construction business in Lower Sackville.

Sometime between 5 p.m. on November 19 and 7 a.m. on November 20, a 2009 Caterpillar 303.5 Mini-Cat Excavator, black and yellow in colour, and it’s trailer, a 2010 Tri-Axle galvanized flat deck, were stolen from the business on Sackville Dr. The license plate on the trailer is Nova Scotia T-366573.

The investigation is continuing and Halifax District RCMP is asking the public for assistance in locating this equipment. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Halifax District RCMP at902 490 5020.
