Thinner Thursday: I’m Normal!

I haven’t been posting my weekly weigh-ins in a while.  Now that my baby is mobile, I’m spending all my time running after my baby and no time typing up blogs.

That is not to say that I haven’t been keeping up with my Weight Watchers journey.  Every Thursday morning I have been weighing in without fail.  I am pleased to announce that since my last Thinner Thursday weigh-in 3 weeks ago, I have lost over 6 lbs!  I even lost two pounds over Thanksgiving.  I will say that last weekend I fell away from keeping track of my points after a couple of meals out and a couple pieces of cake for my Mom’s birthday.  That explains that lower than average loss.  But, I jumped right back into it, which is good.

Today, when I stepped on my Wii Fit scale (what I have been using to weigh myself all along), my little Mii character started cheering at me.  The one pound that I lost this week was enough to move me out of the Overweight range into the Normal range.  This is a huge and exciting milestone!

How will I celebrate this milestone?  That’s the problem… I haven’t actually rewarded myself for my first ten pounds lost like I had planned.  And now, I’m getting into the need to purchase zone instead of want to purchase one.  My pants are falling down.  I either need to buy a new wardrobe or get a belt.  The belt will probably win out… and a belt certainly isn’t a weight loss reward.

I’ll leave you with a picture of my son playing at Aplaydia Indoor Playground earlier this month, because, you know, playing at a playground is being active which is akin to weight loss, and therefore this picture goes along with the theme of this blog post… right?

Oh, whatever.  It is ridiculously cute.  Plus, look how gorgeous my son’s eyes are.
