Three Words for 2013

Last year I operated under 3 words, create, connect and cultivate. They served me well. They kept me focused. They helped me in every area of my life. For that I am thankful.

This year as I thought about the words I want to guide the year ahead I was nervous as these 3 served me so very well, and brought much joy, work, and so many connections that I am very grateful for.

So as I looked at the year ahead and where I need to focus so I can grow and learn these are my 3 words:

1. Brave- it will be a key one, and I learned it well by watching my daughter in 2012. As we learn to deal with mental illness on a daily basis we will need bravery every day. I will need to be brave as I face job choices and partnerships. I will need to be brave when I put myself out there.

2. Trust- In 2012, I helped launch Extreme Trust, and I am learning that being a trusted source is so important. Trust needs to be at play in everything I do. I need to trust others as they trust me. It is a circle.

3. Habit- Habits are important, they are part of the grind. Some of the habit I need to work on this year involve keeping to the grind when it comes to my health, blogging and spiritual life. The habits are important and they need to be a well ingrained part of the day.

Are you using a word to guide you? three words? Let me know.
