Trail Construction – Shubie Park

UPDATE: This work has been delayed, and is expected to begin on Monday, Jan. 20, if weather permits.

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that trail construction will be taking place in Shubie Park beginning Wednesday, Jan. 15.

Work will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and is anticipated to be completed on Friday, Jan. 17.

This work is to replace a culvert in the park, which will close a section of trail (see map). Park users are advised to avoid the area and be cautious of trucks and equipment moving near the work site.
