Trespass at Night Charges

A man and a male youth face charges after a number of vehicles were broken into overnight in Bedford.
 
Shortly before midnight, officers assigned to the West Quick Response Unit (WQRU) along with patrol officers, responded to Admiral Cove Drive to a report of two suspects breaking into vehicles in the area. Officers quickly located the suspects at the intersection of Eaglewood Drive and Admiral Cove Drive and they were taken in custody without incident with the help of a K-9 unit.
 
As a result of the investigation, 19-year-old Cody Richard Jesso from Halifax a 17-year-old male youth from Dartmouth will appear in court today. Jesso will appear in Halifax Provincial Court while the young offender will appear in Halifax Provincial Youth court. They both face two counts of trespassing at night and one count each of breach of court order.
