Tunes At Noon 2011 Lineup Announced

  Release: Halifax, NS, July 5, 2011 – Premier Presenter Halifax Chamber of Commerce, Councillor Dawn Sloane, Downtown Halifax Business Commission, Centre for Arts and Technology and Halifax Regional Municipality Cultural Affairs, in association with Music Nova Scotia, present Tunes at Noon, a weekly summer concert series featuring Nova Scotian performers of all genres of music. Tunes at Noon will take place every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 12:00 Noon – 1:00 pm in Grand Parade in Halifax. The series will run from July 13 to September 9, 2011, and will begin with a kick-off celebration with free cake right before the first concert.

The Halifax Chamber is proud to be partnering with the Halifax Regional Municipality in presenting Tunes at Noon for the 2011 summer season. "The Chamber was happy to assist in keeping this worthwhile community event going for another year," says Valerie Payn, President and CEO of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce. "We know Tunes at Noon is enjoyed by many members of the community, including Chamber members, both from the central business district and well beyond, and we are proud to be doing our part in making sure the show goes on."
