Two Face Charges After Break and Enter – Halifax

A man and woman are facing charges after a break and enter yesterday morning in Halifax.

At 10:30 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a break and enter in-progress in the 1300 block of South Park Street. A man and woman entered the rear door of a restaurant and took the keys to the liquor locker.  Staff confronted the man and woman as they tried to exit through the rear door.

Officers responded to the area quickly and located the suspects at the rear of the business. The man and woman were arrested without incident.

A 21-year-old Dartmouth man and a 21-year-old Halifax woman will appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to face charges of break and enter.
