Two homes shot on Moody Park Drive

At 1:45 AM – HRP officers responded to a report of gunfire near a residence located in the 0-100 block of Moody Park Dr. in Williamswood.
The complainant in this matter stated they awoke to the sound of a gunshot. They looked out their window and observed a suspect enter a vehicle described as a newer model silver – hatchback flee from the area. Patrol officers at the scene determined that the suspect appeared to have  parked in the complainants driveway but had in fact fired on two homes located across the street. Both homes had been struck –  one had a single bullet enter their French doors located on the front side of the residence while the second home was struck twice, once in the siding below a ground level window, the second bullet passed through an upper level window. Both homes were occupied at the time that the shots were fired (2 adults in the home struck with one bullet / a single adult in the home struck with 2 bullets). At this time HRP investigators remain on scene as evidence is being gathered by members of the Forensic Identification Section. No one was injured during this incident.

At present there is no indication that this shooting is connected to the earlier incident reported on Williams Lake Rd.
