The Halifax Regional police responded to the area of Agricola St. and West St. for a report of a male carrying a partially concealed knife on his person. As police officers identified themselves to this male he dropped the knife. Additional units attended to assist and male was taken into custody. One male youth is facing a criminal charge. This incident occurred at 7:55 PM.

 
 
Robbery
 
At 8:44 PM The Halifax Regional Police responded to the 3455 Windsor St. for a report of an attempted Robbery. A man entered the business carrying a knife and demanded property including tobacco from the victim. The victim confronted the suspect and suspect fled on foot. A witness in the area observed the suspect get onto a bicycle and was last seen heading down Hood St. Suspect is described as wearing a white face covering. The suspect did not obtain any property and no injuries were reported.
