Two men charged following assault causing bodily harm.

Police have charged two men in relation to an assault that occurred overnight in Halifax.

Shortly after 2:30 a.m. officers responded to a report of an altercation involving three men in the area of Prince and Argyle Streets in Halifax.

In the altercation, one man was physically assaulted by two others. The victim, a 20-year-old Truro man, received non-life-threatening injuries. He was treated and released at the scene.

Officers have charged a 19-year-old Halifax man and a 20-year-old Dartmouth man with assault causing bodily harm. The two men are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to face the charges.
