Man charged after drug search in Dartmouth

A man is facing charges after police obtained warrants and conducted drug searches at two separate locations earlier today in Dartmouth.

At approximately 10:15 a.m., investigators in the Special Enforcement Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division conducted searches at a residence on Slayter Street and a storage facility on Albro Lake Road. Officers seized a quantity of clonazepam pills, cannabis resin, a cell phone and@ over $18,000 from the residence.

A man was arrested at the residence without incident. He faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. He was release to appear in court at a later date.
