Two men chased, shots fired

  Police are looking for two suspects after an incident in Dartmouth yesterday.

 

Police are looking for two suspects after an incident in Dartmouth yesterday.
At 6:40 pm tonight two males (21 and 18 years of age) were exiting a convenience store located at 553 Pleasant St when they were confronted by two other males. One of these males was reaching in his clothing and one of the victims believed he saw a handgun. Both victims jumped in to their vehicle and as they were speeding away they heard several gun shots and also heard the rounds strike their vehicle. They drove a short distance and called police. Luckily no one was injured during the incident. Suspect descriptions are as follows:
 
Suspect #1: black male, dark complexion, 5’6 in height,  heavy set, approximately 20 years old wearing a black shirt or sweater.
Suspect #2: black male, lighter complexion, 5’10 in height wearing a lighter coloured jacket.
 
At this time Halifax Regional Police are in the initial stages of the investigation.Investigators are urging anyone with information about this incident to contact them at 490-5016 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
