Two Vehicle MVA Knocks Out Power To Parts Of Dartmouth

At 11:10pm Monday officers responded to a 2 vehicle Motor Vehicle Accident at the intersection of Queen Street and Victoria Road in Downtown Dartmouth.

One of the involved vehicles was traveling the wrong way down a one way street before colliding with the second vehicle at the intersection or Queen and Victoria. That vehicle then struck a Telephone Pole causing a power outage to many homes in the South end of Dartmouth. NS Power crews are on scene making efforts to restore power and make it safe for the removal of  the vehicle that struck the pole. They anticipate that it will be some time before power can be restored to the affected area. There were no injuries reported and a Summary Offence ticket has been issued to the driver of one of the involved vehicles.
