Two vehicle / pedestrian collisions in Halifax investigated

930am- A male in his teens attempted to cross in the crosswalk west bound on Main Ave at Willett St when a motorists driving north on Willett St struck him with the front of his car. Police located both individuals a short distance away. Neither were injured (no medical attention required) The motorist, a 27-year-old male, was charged with failing to yield to pedestrian in a crosswalk.

830am- A female in her teens, walking west bound on Coronation Ave., attempted to cross in an unmarked crosswalk at Willett St. The youth ran into the intersection and was struck by a motorist driving a car south on Willett St. The youth was taken to the IWK as a precaution. There have been no charges laid at this point.
