Two vehicles set on fire, police investigating

Police are investigating two vehicle fires that occurred in Halifax this weekend that are believed to be intentionally started.

On June 12 police received two reports of two separate vehicles that had been broken into and set on fire in the 0-100 block of Adelaide Avenue. Both vehicles were parked in the owners’ driveways at the time. It is believed that the incidents occurred sometime in the overnight hours of June 11 to 12.

Investigators are asking anyone who has any information or video from the area to contact police by calling 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or using the P3 Tips App.
