Two Youth Arrested after Weapon Incident

At about 4:15 pm Halifax Regional Police received a call regarding a vehicle near the BMO Centre in Bedford and the occupants were in possession of a handgun. Patrol Officers located the vehicle and performed a High Risk Take Down on Joseph Howe Drive in Halifax. As a result of the stop two young offender males were taken into custody. A loaded handgun along with a quantity of marihuana was seized. The investigation is continuing , the males will be attending Halifax Court on Monday.
