Unclaimed money found at Value Village

Police are seeking the owner(s) of an undisclosed sum of money found at Value Village in Bayers Lake.

At 2:39 p.m. on February 12, police responded to Value Village located at 165 Chain Lake Drive in Halifax after staff reported finding money inside an item that had been donated to the store on February 11. The owner(s) of the money has not been located.

The owner(s) or anyone with information regarding the owner(s) is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5016. To claim the money, the person must be able to specify the amount of money, denominations, the item in which the money was found and any other useful information to determine ownership.
