Two people face additional charges in relation to a shooting in Millbrook.

Millbrook RCMP, assisted by Colchester County RCMP, Colchester County Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU), Integrated RCMP/HRP General Investigation Section (GIS) and Halifax Regional Police (HRP), conducted a joint investigation which led to the arrests.

In the early morning hours of January 2nd, members of the HRP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a warrant at an apartment on Galaxy Ave. in Dartmouth. As a result, a 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested without incident in relation to the shooting.

Robert Edgar Paul, 21, has been charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault and several weapons offences. He has been remanded until January 9th and will be appearing in Truro Provincial Court.

Macquell Weatherbee, 25, has been charged with Accessory After the Fact for Attempted Murder and Aggravated Assault. She has also been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Carrying a Weapon For a Dangerous Purpose. She is expected to appear in Truro court today.
