Update: Additional charges laid in intimidation case, Hammonds Plains, N.S.

Lunenburg District RCMP have charged two additional males for their attempts to intimidate a justice participant.

On October 26 at approximately 6 p.m., police attended a residence on Pockwock Rd. and arrested a 43-year-old male.

At approximately 8 p.m., police also attended a residence on Anderson Rd. and arrested a 51-year-old male. Both men were arrested without incident and will be appearing in Bridgewater Provincial Court this afternoon.

Alden Oliver, 51, and Sean Simms ,43, of Hammonds Plains are charged with the following offences:

– Counselling to Commit the Indictable Offence of Intimidation of a Justice Participant
– Breach of Recognizance x 2

The investigation is continuing.
