Richmond District RCMP advises the incident involving a barricaded man in a residence has ended peacefully.

At approximately 6:30 p.m, a 55 -year-old Lower River Rd. man was arrested without incident by members of the Richmond County RCMP. He is in police custody at this time. A decision on charges has not been made.

The RCMP thanks local residents for their patience and cooperation. The investigation is continuing.
