Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Pleasant Street – Water Valve Replacement
(November 9, 2022) From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 10, Halifax Water crews will be replacing a water valve on Pleasant Street, Dartmouth, near Osborne Avenue. Water service will be maintained during this work. There will be lane reductions in this area with two-way traffic maintained. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Sidewalks remain open. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
