Update: Kings District RCMP have two young persons in custody, Cambridge, N.S.

RCMP have arrested two young persons in relation to a threat received by a student at the Central Kings Rural High School (CKRHS).

At approximately 11:55 a.m., Kings District RCMP received a report that a student at the CKRHS had received a threatening text from another person.

As a precaution, the CKRHS and the adjacent Cambridge Elementary school were immediately locked down by school officials.

RCMP confirm that two young persons were arrested without incident, nowhere near the schools. It is too early to determine if criminal charges will be laid. The investigation is continuing.
