Update: Lunenburg County RCMP release name of fisherman, Stonehurst South, N.S.

RCMP is releasing the name of the fisherman who was found deceased yesterday morning.

At 1 a.m. yesterday, Lunenburg District RCMP responded to a complaint of a missing 79-year-old fisherman.

An extensive search of the area was conducted and tragically, the man’s body was located in the water.

Elburn Leo Tanner, 79, of Stonehurst, was found deceased in the Rocky Lane Cove area of Stonehurst South. Foul play is not suspected.
