Meteghan RCMP continue to investigate a two vehicle motor vehicle collision with one fatality.

On January 13th at approximately 10:20 p.m., Meteghan RCMP with assistance from Yarmouth & Digby RCMP, Salmon River and Meteghan Fire Departments and EHS responded to a 911 call of a two vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 101 in Salmon River. Fifty-two year-old Gordon James Best of Rossway, Digby County passed away at the scene.

An RCMP traffic analyst was called to the scene and is assisting Meteghan RCMP with the investigation. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
