Yarmouth Town RCMP have recovered the body of a 64-year-old man who went missing last Tuesday morning.

At approximately 8:20 a.m. this morning, RCMP and the Yarmouth Fire Department responded to a report of an adult male body found by the Yarmouth Government Wharf.

Preliminary investigation determined that an employee of the ice plant had spotted the body. The body, identified as David Mande Saulnier, was recovered from the water at approximately 9:45 a.m.

RCMP do not suspect foul play at this time. The Medical Examiner’s Office is assisting RCMP with the investigation which is continuing.
