Update: Police charge youth, seize gun in robbery incident, Cole Harbour, N.S.

The General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division has charged a male youth in relation to a robbery incident in Cole Harbour that occurred on July 21.

Preliminary investigation determined three youths were walking on a trail behind Colby Dr. Elementary School when shortly after midnight, a group of eight males approached them in the playground area of the school. Two of the males ordered the three youths to empty their pockets. A weapon that appeared to be a pellet gun was then pointed at the youths by one of the suspects during the robbery.
