Update: RCMP recover stolen items, Lower Sackville, N.S.

As part of their ongoing investigation into recent Break and Enters in Lower Sackville, the RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) executed a search warrant today at a pawn shop in Lower Sackville.

As part of their ongoing investigation into recent Break and Enters in Lower Sackville, the RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) executed a search warrant today at a pawn shop in Lower Sackville.

A large quantity of stolen jewellery has been recovered, as well as electronics and other items, which RCMP are currently working to identify with the rightful owners.

During the search, a loaded firearm was located and a male is currently in custody in relation to that. The investigation is still under way. Police are requesting that anyone who has had a recent theft of computer games (and who did not already provide a serial number to police), to contact the store where they purchased the game(s) in an effort to identify it as theirs. The investigation is continuing.
