RCMP lay charges in two recent Break and Enters, Halifax District, N.S.

Halifax District RCMP, along with the RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU), have laid charges in relation to two recent Break and Enters in Lower Sackville. On September 5th, 2014, a residence on Balsam Circle was broken into with the assistance of a ladder to an unlocked bedroom window.

On September 5th, 2014, a residence on Balsam Circle was broken into with the assistance of a ladder to an unlocked bedroom window.

A laptop and cash was stolen.

On September 8th, 2014, a residence on Kaye Street was broken into and a number of electronic and jewellery items were taken, with much of the jewellery considered irreplaceable due to its significant sentimental value.

Through investigation, a local youth was identified, and RCMP arrested him Wednesday evening. He will be facing charges of Break, Enter and Theft, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Trafficking in Stolen Property and Breaching conditions of his Probation.

The youth and a friend had been arrested on September 9th, 2014, while committing a third B&E in Bedford. The second youth is currently in custody and further charges expected.
