Update: Youth accused in Preston shooting in custody, Hailfax, N.S.

An accused male youth named in a Canada-wide warrant issued on October 2nd, 2014 in connection with a late September shooting incident in Preston has turned himself in to police.

An accused male youth named in a Canada-wide warrant issued on October 2nd, 2014 in connection with a late September shooting incident in Preston has turned himself in to police.

The youth was charged with Attempted Murder as a result.

On Thursday, January 22nd, at approximately 9:30 a.m. the male youth turned himself in to the HRP-RCMP Headquarters. He is facing charges of two counts of Attempted Murder and several weapons offences. He has been remanded into custody and will be appearing in Provincial Court Halifax on February 12th, 2015.
