A building housing several businesses including a Police college and hospitality company was destroyed Sunday, after fire quickly ripped through the building.  Smoke could be seen across most of the Downtown Halifax core and into Dartmouth, covering the area with fumes and cutting power to residents in the area.  A block of row houses was evacuated nearby as a precaution.  More photos and video below.
