Vehicle/pedestrian collision

At approximately 7:45 a.m. this morning, police spoke with a 33-year-old man who reported being struck by a car last night. The incident is reported to have occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. in a marked crosswalk at the intersection of Oxford and Almon Streets. The 74-year-old female driver drove the man to the hospital after the incident for assessment of a non-life-threatening injury to his leg.

 

The incident was investigated and no charges were laid.
