Venus Simply3 Disposable 4-count razors recalled due to cutting hazard (product defect)

Common name: Venus Simply3 Disposable 4-count razors

Product description: This recall involves the Venus Simply3 Disposable 4-count razors. The razors come in pink/white, yellow/white and purple/white and were sold in a pack of 4. Each razor has 3 blades and a pink lubricating strip. The affected products were sold at Walmart Canada, in store and online. The products can be identified by UPC 047400315358 and lot code 9003A17400. The UPC can be found at the back of the product’s packaging and the lot code can be found printed in black ink on the right or left side of the product’s plastic packaging.

Hazard identified: The blades in these razors can become misaligned during the shave and pose a higher risk of cuts during use. As of June 11, 2019, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 1 report where a consumer received cuts while using the razor.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled razors and contact Venus to receive a refund or a replacement, and a return envelope to send the affected product back to the company.
