Occupy NS protesters returned to Grand Parade on Saturday to make a stand after Friday's evictions from Victoria Park. 

A strong showing of Halifax Regional Police members were there to greet them but despite the violence that erupted at Victoria Park things did not escalate to that level on Saturday, though there were a number of heated exchanges. Haligonia's Ashlee Starratt and Steven Morrison were there to take in the scene and talk to those in the crowd.
