Video: Unsung Heroes: A Remembrance Day Special

Filmed at Confederation Centre in Charlottetown on November 5th 2013, Haligonia presents “Unsung Heroes” – a national collaborative commemorative project of Remembrance celebrating the contributions made by Veterans including First Nations, African Canadians, Acadians, the Merchant Marine as well as the pivotal roles played by women during Canada’s military conflicts and peacekeeping missions. Through musical performance and spoken word, largely untold and new stories are brought to light reaching a new generation of Canadians as well as veterans.
