Capital Health recently conducted a survey, asking 2800 people about their health needs.

406 residents were from our region.

Now that the Cobequid Community Health Board has reviewed the data, we would like to meet with the community to share these results.

Here are just a few things you told us:

-89% rated their general health as good, very good or excellent.
-46% physically inactive.
-58% eat below the fruit & vegetable requirements.
-62% are overweight or obese, with 27 % stating their weight was “about right”.

This is a unique opportunity so we hope that you can join us to begin this conversation.

As well, we would like your help in identifying priorities for Capital Health’s business plan.
