Weed Grow-Op Busted in Lake Echo area

From RCMP:
Members of the RCMP Marihuana Grow Operations Enforcement Team with assistance of Halifax District executed a Search Warrant at a single dwelling in a Lake Echo subdivision today.

RCMP seized approximately 343 mature plants and a large quantity of dried marihuana bud.  Also seized were high voltage light bulbs, fans, dehumidifiers and other grow operation equipment. Police have also determined that there was an electrical by-pass at the residence and will be pursuing a Theft of Electricity investigation.  The evidence located in the dwelling indicated this sophisticated indoor grow operation had been in place for a lengthy period of time.
At this time no arrests have been made, however the investigation is continuing.
