Aggravated Assault

On 20100805 @ 2000 hours HRP members responded to a disturbance  in the parking lot area of 25 Nantucket Avenue where an altercation had occurred involving 3 males.  One male produced a knife and attacked another male over a money dispute. A 20 year male victim was stabbed in the chest and arm and was transported to the QE2 Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A 17 year old Cole Harbour male will face charges of  aggravated assault, threats and weapons offenses and a  20 year old  Dartmouth male will face charges of Theft and accessory.  Both will appear in Halifax Provincial court on 20100806.

Assault with a Weapon

On 20100805 @ 1908 hours HRP members responded to a 3rd party complaint of an assault with a weapon. Indications were that a person had been stabbed in the face with a knife and was going to attend a hospital. Police located a 19 year old  male victim at the QE2 hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The location where the incident occurred is unknown at this time.

 Attempt Robbery

On 20100806 @ 0041 hours HRP members respond to an attempt Robbery in the 100 Block of Wyse Road.  The male victim had exited from an ABM when he was approached by a male and female. The victim felt they had watched him trying to take money out and  when he told them he had no money both parties struck him in the head/face. The victim fled the area and indicated he was calling the police. The victim did not sustain any injuries and the suspects fled the area.

Suspects described as follows
) Black light skin male, 22-23 years of age 5'10. Corn Row hair style.
Wearing a white hoody, brownish coloured shirt underneath, blue jeans.
