The Halifax Regional Municipality is reminding residents that weekly green cart collection service will end on Friday, September 29. 

Weekly curbside green cart collection is provided to all residents during the months of July, August and September. Bi-weekly green cart collection will resume on Monday, October 2. For more information, please visit our website.

• Place wet food waste in boxboard, or wrap using one sheet of newspaper, before placing in your green cart
• Place your green cart curbside each collection day, even if it isn’t full
