Weekly green cart collection ends Monday, August 31

Tuesday, August 25, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that summer weekly green cart collection will wrap up for the season on Monday, August 31.

Weekly green cart service is provided to all residents during the months of July and August. Green cart collection will return to the regular two-week green cart/garbage collection schedule on Tuesday, September 1.

Residents should refer to their organics green cart and garbage collection schedules, check the new ‘What Goes Where’ mobile and web-based app at www.halifax.ca/whatgoeswhere, or call 311 for regular collection information.

Residents are reminded to place their garbage, recycling and green carts curbside no later than 7 a.m. to ensure pick-up.
