Windsor District RCMP would like to advise that they are no longer seeking information from the public regarding a suspicious incident that took place this past weekend in Windsor.
An investigation has revealed that the incident was a misunderstanding, and the issue has since been resolved. Windsor District RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance with this matter.

Windsor District RCMP is investigating a suspicious incident after receiving a complaint that a female may have been forced into a vehicle against her will on Cole Dr. at approximately 12:21 pm. this afternoon.

The vehicle is described as a black pick-up with a green or camouflage coloured ATV in the back.

The male driver of the pick-up is described as approximately 50-years-old with short dark hair and was wearing dark coloured track pants and top. The male passenger was described as being in his late teens or early twenties and wearing a light blue sweater.  The female is described as a teenager with shoulder length brown hair.

The black pick-up truck was last seen taking the Wentworth Rd. exit of the rotary in Windsor.

Windsor District RCMP is looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
