Windsor District RCMP investigates armed robbery, Brooklyn, N.S.

Windsor District RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred last evening.

At approximately 6:50 p.m., a lone male entered Reid’s Meats Clover Farms Supermarket located on Hwy 215. The suspect displayed a knife to the store attendant and demanded cash and cigarettes.

The suspect concealed his identity by wearing a mask and pulling a hooded sweatshirt over his head. He left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes driving an older model cream coloured Chevrolet Malibu with a dent on the passenger side of the vehicle.

RCMP are looking for the male who is described as Caucasian, between 5’9′ – 6′ tall, slim build, short dark hair, brown eyes, wearing tan work boots, jeans, a red and plaid shirt and a large grey hooded sweatshirt. No one was injured in the robbery.
